Memory Lane of Labradors

Beautiful & Sweet

Labs of the Past

Over the years we have been very privileged to have known and loved many endearing, beautiful, sweet Labradors. Some of the Labradors in this section have crossed the rainbow bridge and some are still on this earth and making people a bit happier every day. Some of these sweet soles are pictured with their families and some are pictures while they were at Humehill.

“Duke” – Humehills John Wayne

We will miss you Duke. Duke last litter was just born in Feb. 2007 and they are beautiful.

Grizzly

We just lost our beloved old house pet and sire of many great dogs, Grizzly at nearly 15 years old. He was a great dog, a true gentleman, a babysitter to many an obnoxious puppy, my hero when I needed an ear to bend or a good cry and I miss him so. Rest well old friend… rest well.

Mud

Mud was a gentle giant. He was a great big, kind and gentle lap-dog or so he thought. We have many fond memories of our daughter as a 3-4 year old walking him and he never once pulled at the leash though he was many times bigger than her and very powerful…. he was just to kind and loved her so.

Hassle

Hassle passed away when she was 17 from old dog complications. She was a sweet fun-loving old gal.

Gilligan

Gilligan was a sweet black gentleman. Gilligan passed away from old dog complications. We will miss our old friend.
